I think it depends on the person, I loved my hair when it was short, it looked cute and funky and suited my bone structure, it was a kind of elfin cut (like Halle Berry but I am not as pretty as her!) and I am small so I think it worked well. Now I have been trying to grow my hair for just over a year and it is a nightmare. It is not shiny or attractive, it looks like I have had a really bad home perm and I hate it, every morning I am upset with it. I promised my boyfriend I would try and grow it for two years to see what it looks like and he loves it but I am so unhappy with it!
