See if you have a Toni and Guy around, they're in all major cities, so I would assume you do. They're good at innovative, different (but still not too crazy) haircuts/styles/color.

Also, if you do want it to be a head turning crazy type cut - they definitely do that as well.

Only problem with them is if you have thick hair they tend to thin it out a lot, but the way they do it causes it to grow back awkwardly and bulky toward the ends - otherwise they're amazing at giving you a great, cool hairstyle that matches your style.

Well I'm not sure if they have them in Pittsburgh, but you could try Regis (ive only seen them in malls). They can do pretty much any style and when I get my hair cut there I always love it!
