How do I cut my hair like this? Punk styles and techniques?

I need to cut the tips of my hair pointed-like and not all thick and choppy at the ends, but nice and thin like the tips of that persons hair.

can someone help me out on how to do that technique?

ask to get short layers and thin it out on the bottom. i still recommend kinda choppy though. bring the picture to ur hairstylist. it that looks like it needs a lot maintenance, but still cute
