My Mother is homebound and paralized on one side. Her hair gets tangled every day since she lays on it and turns her head from side to side. Detangler sprays don't help much, I think she'd be much more comfortable with a short hair style. If you know of a web site with pictures that would be a big help or if you cut hair and can give me step by step instructions too.
How can I cut my Mother's hair and make it look nice?
Shorter would be better. Cut it around the bottom first and off the ears. Comb the top and sides all forward and cut from the front of the ears all the way across the bang area(above the eyebrows) and to the other ear. Brush it all back and away from her face. This will look and nice. It is too hard to tell you how to layer hair, but the way I told you to cut it should make it easier for your Mother.
